PurposeThe Warehouse Shipping Clerk role is responsible for verifying, documenting, organizing, and preparing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely flow of goods that support EFCO's warehouse, production, and customer delivery operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesShipping and Receiving (80%)
Load and unload trucks and containers, inspecting parts upon receipt and before shipment to ensure quality and accuracy.Count, stack, bundle, band, palletize, and transport parts between stock and loading docks using material-handling equipment.Assemble and disassemble parts as required.Follow corporate double-count procedures for all inbound and outbound equipment to ensure accurate counts and proper documentation.Coordinate with other plant areas to confirm parts are in process and available as needed.
Work Area Housekeeping and Equipment Upkeep (20%)
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is essential.Pallets, shelves, and staging zones must remain orderly and clearly labeled.Ensures that tools and material-handling equipment are kept in good working condition and returned to designated storage after use.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.Certification(s) and License(s): Forklift certification or experience preferred.Other Requirements: Familiarity with packing, labeling, and shipping documentation; strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
