POSITION SUMMARY

To effectively and efficiently receive products and materials, stage presses, and accurately post material usage. Manage the receipt and release of finished goods inventory in the warehouse while meeting all customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload trucks
• Operate lift trucks and clamp trucks in a safe manner
• Review, process, inspect and test incoming raw material
• Process and move raw material from bin locations to press area
• Enter and file receiving worksheets
• Enter and log material postings and stock adjustments and report to customer service as needed.
• Use warehouse computer systems to receive and ship product and manage warehouse.
• Verify correct product numbers and revision dates are received, pulled and shipped.
• Understanding and following all work instructions and procedures that pertain to pulling of releases.
• Utilize material handling techniques that prevent damage and deterioration of products and materials
• Participate in yearly inventory/cycle counting
• Consolidate inventory regularly using FIFO rules
• Initiates NCR for damaged stock
• Back-up Shipping Clerk and Fulfillment on an as needed basis
• Support the business system and the quality mission statement
• Performs housekeeping in warehouse
• Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements)

• High school diploma or GED
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge and experience with different shipping methods and requirements
• 1 - 2 years previous Receiving/Distribution experience
• Strong problem-solving techniques
