Oversee daily warehouse staff/operations ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurate, packed correctly, shipped correctly and processed in the system of record.


What you will be responsible for:


+ Ensure that all warehouse personnel follow policies and procedures for inventory-handling. Direct warehouse personnel as necessary.

+ Inspect outgoing material against shipping paperwork.

+ Ensure material is packed according to the requirement of the order.

+ Verify outgoing orders to repair vendors are accurate

+ Schedule pickup from commercial carriers

+ Responsible for maintaining accuracy of the MIS and accuracy of the physical inventory.

+ All other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


What you will need to be successful in this role:


+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

+ Must have at least 4 years of related experience and/or training.

+ Experience in supply management and logistical support functions

+ Must have an understanding of Military Supply Chain processes and inventory practices.

+ Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required).

+ Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.

+ Must have great organization, communications and time management skills.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

+ The environmental characteristic for this position is a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.

+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and comply with OSHA standards

+ Must be able to work 1st shift, and must be able to work overtime as needed.
