Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Operations Lead (Manufacturing)

At ConMet’s Chillicothe, OH plant, we’re looking for a hands-on leader to direct warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control so production never misses a beat and customers get on-time deliveries.

Why this role matters

• You align inbound, in-plant, and outbound flow to production schedules and customer demand.
• You protect inventory accuracy with cycle counts, location discipline, and FIFO.
• You reduce logistics costs by optimizing carriers, freight, packaging, and shipping processes.
• You build a safe, skilled, performance-driven team.
• You partner with Production, Purchasing, and other teams to guarantee material availability.
• You elevate safety, quality, delivery, and performance through continuous improvement.
• You ensure compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and customer requirements.

Must-haves

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years in materials, warehousing, or logistics within manufacturing.
• Prior leadership/supervisory experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse ops, and ERP (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
