Position: Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate
Location: North Portland
Pay: $20-22/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Who We Are:
Opti Staffing is hiring for a well-established industrial supplier in the Vancouver area that serves customers across a variety of industries. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and keeping warehouse operations running smoothly. If you're experienced with shipping, receiving, forklifts, and order fulfillment, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.
Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Operate a forklift to safely move materials throughout the warehouse.
Package and label outgoing shipments accurately.
Verify inventory and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are completed on time.

What You Need to Have:

Previous shipping and receiving experience.
Experience picking and pulling customer orders.
Forklift experience (required).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Basic computer and inventory skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

The Musts:

Forklift experience.
Shipping & receiving experience.
Order picking and order pulling experience.
Ability to read shipping documents and follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Preferred:

Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
Experience working in an industrial or distribution warehouse.
Shipping experience with UPS, FedEx, or LTL carriers.
Current forklift certification (not required).
