Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Warehouse Specialist on a Government contract with a place of performance at New Cumberland, PA.The job will work third shift: 10pm-6:30am Monday-FridayPosition SummaryPerform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage planVerifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damagesRouting materials to prescribed storage locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methodsRearranging and taking inventory of stored materialsExamining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damageRemoving material from storage and preparing it for shipment.May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties.Basic Requirements:Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC)Must be 18 years or olderMust be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up 50 lbsMust be able to learn to operate a forklift and stock selector lift which requires employees be under 300 lb lift weight limit (with harness) and be comfortable using the lift to be in the air 30 feetMust be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to Include stand-up and sit-down forklifts.At least one-year experience with Supply Management operation systems.Prior knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety ProceduresPreferred Qualifications:Experience with DSS and other Government Data SystemsExperience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types Including stand-up and sit-down forkliftsExperience with resolving common error conditionsExperience responding to computer output instructions or error conditionsMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
