The Warehouse Specialist is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods throughout the facility - from receipt, to QA quarantine, to storage, to staging for production, and on to finished goods storage or shipment. Beyond the physical handling of inventory, this role owns the accuracy of inventory records, leads cycle counts, and investigates discrepancies to ensure the warehouse operates as a reliable, audit-ready link between Receiving, Production, and Quality.

The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working independently, highly detail-oriented, and effective working across a wide range of personalities and teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift operating certification - will be required to certify, if not already held
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain preferred
  • Experience in a regulated environment (nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or similar) preferred, including cGMP environment controls
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles and material flow
  • Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

DUTIES:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Move inventory throughout the facility, including receipt, QA quarantine, storage, and production staging
  • Stage material for production teams and receive finished goods from production for storage
  • Prepare and ship finished goods to customers via small parcel and LTL shipments

Inventory Control:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and adjustments
  • Ensure proper inventory labeling, status control, and traceability (lot control, expiration dates)
  • Coordinate with Quality on material holds, releases, and quarantines

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure warehouse and inventory activities comply with cGMP, food safety, and company SOPs
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation
  • Support internal and external audits as needed
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at all times

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support Lean / CI initiatives to improve warehouse productivity, flow, and cost
  • Identify and help eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and recurring inventory issues

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Communicate material shortages, risks, or delays to Supply Chain and Operations
  • Work closely with Production and Quality to support efficient, compliant material flow
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Operations Manager

WORK LOCATION:

Twin Falls, ID - onsite required

HOURS:

7:00 - 3:30, weekdays

Some weekend/evening hours possible
