Warehouse Specialist
Reports to: Procurement & Supply Chain Manager
Location – Eureka, CA
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, and managing inventory in a warehouse/yard setting. This role ensures that inventory is accurately recorded, organized, and readily available for distribution. The Warehouse Specialist works closely with OSP, contractors, purchasers, and Inventory Manager to maintain efficient operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Store inventory in designated locations while maintaining proper organization and labeling.
Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping according to company procedures.
Perform regular cycle counts and stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, following safety regulations.
Track inventory movements using warehouse management systems or manual logs.
Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory counts.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and restock supplies.
Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Some travel is required to other warehouse locations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or inventory management experience is preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs.) regularly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Forklift experience required.
The use of a reliable personal vehicle.

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
Standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
