The Warehouse Specialist II is responsible for performing daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving activities, maintaining the warehouse, and supporting the manufacturing team.
Responsibilities involve performing routine tasks such as packaging orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse while adhering to established procedures. Additionally, this position will be required to execute more advanced tasks, such as troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and managing assigned equipment.
The Warehouse Specialist II is expected to demonstrate problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude, effective communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Package and ship orders accurately and independently, ensuring adherence to shipping requirements.
Prepare product shipments for domestic and international destinations following packaging and labeling procedures, ensuring shipping documentation is properly processed and special shipping instructions are met, with minimal supervision.
Ensure timely and accurate physical movement of products to and from storage locations, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
Conduct inspections of products for defects, shortages, improper assembly, or damage before packing.
Receive, unload and place incoming products and materials in designated areas, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reporting discrepancies, proposing corrective action when required.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as hydraulic pallet jacks, in a safe manner and with demonstrated proficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment daily to ensure efficient operations, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Ensure hazardous and waste materials are disposed of appropriately and in accordance with guidelines.
Monitor assigned equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Report issues related to product nonconformance, work order discrepancies, and equipment malfunction to the warehouse manager.
Assist with the preparation of bulk manufacturing rooms for manufacturing activities according to procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma with at least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; or equivalent experience with at least two (2) years of hands-on experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Basic computer and math skills
