Warehouse Specialist

Technica is seeking Warehouse Specialists for support at DLA Red River Army Depot in New BostonWork Shift: 2pm-10:30pm with 30 minute meal break Position Summary:Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage planVerifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damagesRouting materials to prescribed storage locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methodsRearranging and taking inventory of stored materialsExamining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damageRemoving material from storage and preparing it for shipment.May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties.Basic Requirements:Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC)Must be 18 years or olderMust be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up 50 lbsMust be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to Include stand-up and sit-down forklifts.At least one-year experience with Supply Management operation systems.Prior knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures
