Job Details

We are currently seeking a reliable and ambitious Warehouse Specialist to join our growing team. This position is an integral part of our healthcare supply chain operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our warehouse inventory. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm, No Nights + No Weekends.

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Specialist, your primary duties will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing items while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
2. Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency, conducting regular inventory audits, and preparing detailed inventory reports.
3. Coordinating with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
5. Troubleshooting any warehouse related issues and implementing effective solutions.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures.
7. Continually looking for ways to improve warehouse operations and efficiency.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control systems and best practices.
3. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficiency with warehouse management software and basic computer applications, such as MS Office.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
