This task includes a variety of activities toinclude the following:Verifying materials against receiving documentsNoting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damageRouting materials to prescribed storage locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methodsRearranging and taking inventory of stored materialsReplenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or reporting various requests for needed merchandiseExamining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damagePreparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaMaintaining quality service by following organizational standardsCompleting reports by entering required information into the inventory management systemOperating a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilizing a variety of hand tools as requiredLifting up to 50lbsOperating a computer to process reports and forms, and maintaining inventory of warehouse materials as requiredRequirement:3 years' related experience
