The Warehouse Specialist is critical to the Company s success in providing a quality service to our customers by maintaining an organized warehouse, receiving incoming materials and loading outbound shipments. This position reports to both the Plant Manager and Logistics Manager. A Warehouse Specialist s tasks include but are not limited to warehouse organization, shipping and receiving and routine maintenance of loading equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Logistics Manager with management of inbound & outbound shipments, inventory management, & warehouse maintenance.
  • Unload shipments as directed.
  • Receive bulk product and consumables completing all corresponding documentation.
  • Stage material for processing and prepare for shipping post processing
  • Operate forklifts and reach trucks to transport pallets of bulk material within the facility.
  • Use the facility box truck to conduct the transporting of equipment, bulk materials and supplies between facility locations.
  • Stage and load outbound shipments.
  • Conduct daily inspections and routine forklift/reach truck maintenance.
  • Maintains an accurate warehouse inventory
  • Perform other business critical duties, when necessary, as determined by Management.
  • Perform warehouse and general facility organization and cleaning duties as required.
  • Must meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Productivity metrics.
Education and Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver s license
  • Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification preferred
  • DOT physical required
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic Problem Solving
  • Prior Warehouse experience preferred
  • Prior forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Operates in an efficient manner with regards to personal timekeeping and time management
  • Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Must comply with safety policies of the company and site.
  • Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times. All personnel own the quality of what they deliver and are responsible for notifying responsible management in a timely manner of regulatory inspections, serious GMP deficiencies, process deviations, product defects and related actions.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Ability to prioritize in a role with diverse duties.
