Warehouse Stocker Seasonal starting at $16.00

Overview:

Responsible for receiving, pulling, and fulfilling I.P.S. department and supply orders throughout Six Flags Darien Lake. Must be available to work varying hours including nights, weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Follow all operating policies and procedures on a continuous basis to ensure safety and efficiency. Unload all food/merchandise/supply deliveries assuring an accurate count while communicating any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager immediately. Responsible for the safe staging and delivery of product from warehouse to stands while minimizing damage to product during transport. Ensure accurate receiving and shipping records and updating files as required. Maintain product continuity throughout the receiving process with accurate results. Practice safety methods, and techniques to ensure work areas are safe. Eliminate unsafe physical conditions, equipment, and machine hazards, and other risks in human and operational performance which may cause injury to persons, damage to property, or cause other losses. Handle all products with care and maintaining all safety procedures including; housekeeping, rotating stock, food handling & storage, ergonomics, team work. Reporting any unusual stock levels observed in park during daily distribution. Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to read and write the English Language
• High volume warehouse experience
• Must have a valid New York State Driver's License and be insurable under property vehicle insurance policy
• Forklift operation - Desirable
• Strong administrative skills including organization and computer literacy
• Basic Math skills
• Must be able to sit and/stand/and walk for long periods of time throughout the day
• Must be able to work outdoors at various times throughout the year
• Must be able to work in extreme temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
• Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, near vision, hearing and speech
• Requires frequent kneeling and bending
• Requires frequent walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling
• Requires frequent lifts and carries up to 50 pounds
• Requires occasional team lifts up to and exceeding 100 pounds.
• Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two wheel hand truck

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, confined spaces-cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate.
