Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Essential Functions

Responsible for supporting the operational and financial performance of the Distribution Center’s Production Department, including budget management, workforce planning, order fulfillment, inventory control, and the movement of products and materials. Plans and coordinates the fulfillment and shipment of beauty products, supplies, transfers, and show orders while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, cost effectiveness, and compliance with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements, including DOT/FAA, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.

Maintains the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory by ensuring compliance with established production, inventory control, and ICC policies and procedures.

Supports the Director of Distribution/Warehouse Operations Manager and Human Resources with employee relations and workforce management activities, including scheduling, timekeeping and payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training and development, performance management, policy communication and enforcement, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Promotes a safe, healthy, and secure work environment by supporting the Director of Distribution/Warehouse Operations Manager in identifying and addressing safety, ergonomic, health, security, and workplace-related concerns. 

Primary Duties

• Support and enforce company safety, ergonomic, emergency egress, Hazard Communication/Right-to-Know, Soft Dangerous Goods, loss prevention, and other applicable safety and compliance programs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of site-specific procedures and addendums, as applicable, and monitor compliance through routine walkthroughs, inspections, and proactive reviews of work areas, equipment, and operational processes.
• Identify safety, compliance, and operational concerns and communicate issues or violations to management. Take appropriate corrective action as directed by management and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist the Director of Distribution/Warehouse Operations Manager with maintaining effective cost control by managing labor, wage costs, supplies, maintenance, and other departmental expenses within the established operational budget.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, cost efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness, and make recommendations to management.
• Assist the Director of Distribution/Warehouse Operations Manager, Human Resources, and Payroll with employee relations and workforce management activities, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, breaks, tardiness, and absences; reviewing and approving timekeeping records and absence reports; and supporting payroll-related processes.
• Support employee performance management, including performance evaluations, corrective action, policy enforcement, and recommendations for further disciplinary action, up to and including termination, as appropriate and directed by management.
• Conduct and participate in regular department meetings and communications with other departments, shifts, and facility leadership to promote effective teamwork, operational continuity, and customer service.
• Participate in start-up meetings, staff meetings, shift-change communications, and other operational meetings as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements 
Work is performed in a warehouse/distribution center environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and active equipment and pedestrian traffic. The position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing stairs, and navigating warehouse areas.

The position requires the ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may be required to perform repetitive physical tasks and maintain a safe and productive work pace while following all applicable safety procedures and operating guidelines.
