Returns Processor

Location: Millington, TN

Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour

Position Type: 12 Month Contract-to-Hire (W2)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Note: Fixed shift; no shift changes once assigned)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Returns Processor to join our warehouse operations team in Millington, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating returned inventory, making accurate disposition decisions, and logging item data directly into SAP and client inventory systems.

Please note: This position is located in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment, where daily temperatures will fluctuate based on the season.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Inspection & Disposition: Review returned merchandise to accurately categorize conditions (Defective, Damaged, or Good Stock).

• Data Entry & System Logging: Input Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) information and product disposition details directly into SAP and warehouse management systems for client review.

• Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (such as pallet jacks or forklifts) as needed to move, stage, and organize return shipments.

• Quality & Accuracy: Ensure precise inventory accounting and clear reporting on damaged or non-conforming products using SAP data workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hands-on experience using SAP for inventory tracking, data entry, or RMA processing.

• Proven experience inspecting returned products and assigning appropriate dispositions.

• Prior experience handling returns or working with major retailer return processes (e.g., Walmart, Target) is highly desirable.

• Strong computer literacy and general software proficiency.

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.

• Full commitment to working the fixed 1st shift schedule (Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with no shift changes.

• Availability to attend New Hire Orientation (NHO) prior to starting standard shifts.

Onboarding & Orientation Details

• Next Orientation Date: October 20th (Orientation classes typically begin at 11:00 AM as needed through November 17th).

• Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on class size.
