Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor! The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse efficiency and customer order fulfillment. They will work with our sales team to coordinate and execute delivery of merchandise to our customers, by assessing delivery needs and determining delivery timelines based on logistics requirements and availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Directly supervise warehouse activities, manage timelines of scheduled deliveries, and lead a team to execute all tasks and fulfil customer orders
• Coach, guide and participate in training and evaluation of assigned staff; provide helpful feedback concerning the achievement of personal and team goals
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed with a sense of urgency following proper guidelines and standards
• Maintain product knowledge and respective storage temperatures for each commodity; educate your team to do the same
• Apply food safety standards and quality control to everything we do
• Actively maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and take immediate action to correct any unsafe situation
• Communicate effectively with customers and assist in solving problems
• Collaborate with sales team to understand customer needs and specific requirements, and customize delivery needs accordingly
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements to optimize workflow
• Collaborate with immediate and cross-functional team members

Required Qualifications

• Proactive planner with the ability to quickly adapt and pivot as necessary
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with a wide range of people who have different communication styles
• Leadership, creative problem solving, and effective listening skills
• Ability to manage expectations and provide proactive updates
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle various moving parts at once
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations
• High school diploma or related field experience
• 3 or more years of management experience

Environment: This is an open environment warehouse position. Must be able to work in various temperatures.

Shift: Night Shift

Pay: $66,000 - $73,000 per year.
