Description:

National Oak Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in our Charlotte location. The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Operations Manager with overseeing warehouse operations. This position is eligible for overtime and a bonus. Supervisory experience is required. Benefits include competitive pay rate, healthcare benefits, 401k, over three weeks of paid time off and more! The job functions include, but are not limited to:

  •       Train and supervise warehouse personnel in responsibilities and procedures.
  •       Ensure product is received, stocked and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
  •       Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  •        Provide hands-on support in all areas of warehouse as needed.
  •        Schedule for appropriate shift coverage.
  •        Report unsafe conditions or repairs needed on equipment to operations manager, schedule preventive maintenance.
  •        File driver’s logbook and post accurate accident log.
  •        Ensure warehouse is properly secured at closing with locked doors and alarm in operation.
  •       Inventory accuracy. Follow up on inventory discrepancies.  Inventory corrections to be made with operation manager’s approval.
  •       Uphold company policies.
  •        Warehouse appearance.  Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards.
  •        Productivity of employees.
  •       Safety training - Ensure forklift and order picker operators are trained properly (Occupational Safety Health Administration).
  •        Must communicate with employees in such a way that they understand what is expected of them on-a-daily basis.
  •        Participate in daily warehouse meetings & monthly safety meetings.
