Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Team Leader (2nd Shift Training on 1st Shift)
= Grandview, OH

Nesco Resource is hiring a Warehouse Team Leader to support 2nd shift operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior warehouse supervisory experience who can lead teams, keep operations organized, and ensure productivity stays on track.

Important: This position is for 2nd shift, but candidates must be able to train on 1st shift for the first few days.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Team Leader plays a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations by overseeing staff, managing workflow, and supporting inventory and shipping processes. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on keeping teams organized, productive, and aligned with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and managing workflow

• Train, coach, and motivate employees to meet performance expectations

• Ensure team members are in the appropriate work areas and processes are running smoothly

• Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including loading/unloading and verifying shipments

• Monitor inventory, conduct cycle counts, and help resolve discrepancies

• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2+ years of warehouse experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep teams on track

• Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed

• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions

Schedule

• 2nd Shift (primary schedule)

• Must be able to train on 1st Shift initially
