Direct activities related to in routing and tracking transportation of household goods, freight and commodities.
Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
Implement schedule and policy changes
Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual staff members.
Perform warehouse work related to receive, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials.
Assembling, addressing, stamping, packing, unpacking and arranging for the transportation of products.
Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents (i.e. manifest, bill of ladings) or management instructions.
Operate a hand truck, forklift, and other heavy equipment.
REUIREMENTS:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Written and verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Positive attitude a plus.
Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment.
Ability to manage warehouse office staff, forklift operators, and/or warehousemen.
