PAY: $50,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct activities related to in routing and tracking transportation of household goods, freight and commodities.
- Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
- Implement schedule and policy changes
- Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
- Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual staff members.
- Perform warehouse work related to receive, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials.
- Assembling, addressing, stamping, packing, unpacking and arranging for the transportation of products.
- Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents (i.e. manifest, bill of ladings) or management instructions.
- Operate a hand truck, forklift, and other heavy equipment.
REUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Positive attitude a plus.
- Ability to work in fast paced and demanding environment.
- Ability to manage warehouse office staff, forklift operators, and/or warehousemen.
