U.S. Lumber an SBP brand is currently hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Indianapolis IN branch. In this role you will be responsible at various points for overseeing the receiving storing picking packing and shipping of materials. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Individuals must follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Order Fulfillment - Ensures that pick files are distributed to Warehouse Associates. Monitors the work progress of Warehouse Associates to ensure that orders are processed and filled in a timely manner. Ensures that it is properly wrapped and staged for loading.

• Work Flow - Manages the flow of work orders and work product through the workday to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of the Warehouse Associates.

• CPUs - Ensures that Customer Pick-up orders are printed and fulfilled.

• Accuracy and Quality - Ensures that all orders are pulled assembled and wrapped correctly.

• Resolves all tickets in Agility.

• Expected to assist Warehouse Associates with the execution of their job responsibilities when necessary.

• Loading - Responsible for printing truck orders and overseeing the proper loading of trucks for delivery.

• Responsible for conducting a final check for accuracy through the loading process to ensure that the correct products are loaded and that all paperwork and tagging is accurate.

• Receiving - Oversees the daily receiving processes unloading of incoming freight receiving of inventory processes all related documentation data entry and labeling.

• RMAs - Works with the Branch Manager to properly check-in and handle all returned materials.

• Maintenance - Oversees the maintenance and inspection paperwork for the forklifts. Addresses any maintenance concerns with Branch Management andor the companys forklift service provider.

• Safety - Ensures that all Warehouse Associates are working in a safe manner. Responsible for addressing any safety violations. Reports all accidents immediately to BranchManagement and Human Resources.

• Housekeeping - Ensures that the warehouse and yard are kept clean and free of debris and waste. Ensures that products are stored properly to ensure cleanliness. Keeps the stored products organized to ensure efficiency.

• Damaged Materials - Works with the Branch Manager to properly handle damaged materials.

• Inventory - Performs cycle counts as assigned by Branch Management.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED COGNITIVE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Be personable articulate and knowledgeable with the ability to work well with other employees and management.

• Ability to learn skills quickly with a mature and service-oriented attitude.

• Must be process-oriented and able to take direction with the ability act with a systematic approach to analyzing situations. Acts with a good mindset to generate business solutions to problems.

• Must work with strong attention to detail and high motivation toward completing task completely accurately and timely.

• Must be adaptable and flexible in order to change or adapt to changing work practices priorities procedures or conditions.

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Must have forklift skills with appropriate certification

• Ability to meet the required schedule for work

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bending stooping reaching twisting lifting pushing pulling and moving items. Requires the ability to frequently lift more than 50 lbs.

• Requires moving around the warehouse to assist others or moving merchandise themselves.

• Identify and read tickets SKUs UPC labels and reports. Requires recognizing identifying and using merchandise and necessary reports.

• Gripping used to operate machinery or hand tools

• Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the Warehouse temporary cracks may appear in the floor causing uneven walking surfaces.

• Warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy.

• Fluctuations of temperature are common

• Wet floors may occur during rainy or snowy weather or at other times depending on what has transpired in the environment i.e. cleaning of floors…

• Sharp andor rough edges will typically be encountered

• Warehouse equipment and treated lumber may emit fumes

• Some equipment may require electric voltage.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• 4 years related experience

• High School diploma

• Must have basic math and analytical skills

• Flexible with scheduling

• Successfully complete any required training or orientation programs
