Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on, working supervisor who helps oversee daily warehouse activities while also working alongside the team as needed. This role helps ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time by providing direction to warehouse employees, supporting daily priorities, keeping the shift running smoothly, and communicating issues or concerns to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
  • Assign work, monitor workflow, and help keep employees focused on daily priorities.
  • Ensure warehouse tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Provide daily direction and support to warehouse employees.
  • Help ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, safety rules, PPE requirements, and workplace expectations.
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, equipment issues, attendance concerns, performance concerns, or conduct issues to management.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Communicate delays, order issues, inventory concerns, or other operational updates to management.
  • Support communication between shifts, departments, and team members.
  • Assist with basic documentation, attendance updates, or daily notes as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, lumber, or building products experience preferred.
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to give clear direction and communicate professionally.
  • Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic computer and forklift/material handling equipment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must follow all safety requirements, including PPE and equipment procedures.

Pay: Starting at $29.00+ per hour, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Schedule may vary based on business needs and may include overtime, early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends.
