Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Midlothian, Texas. As Warehouse Supervisor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for all inventory activities and oversight of the warehouse employees.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of warehousing personnel and ensure application of efficient and safe inventory processes.
Drive improvement of warehousing measurements (KPIs), through active leadership and the refinement of policies, processes and procedures to ensure safety, efficiency and cost controls.
Coordinate consistent physical inventory and quality controls for all incoming/outgoing material while working to continuously improve store KPI's (inventory accuracy, value, turnover, cycle counts).
Responsible for control of all items under min-max responsibility (POs, supplier, timelines)
Responsible for proper storage of parts and equipment to preserve integrity.
Maintain interface with Maintenance and Production Departments for management of min-max of parts and critical spares in the inventory;
Interface with maintenance and production departments in planning items for major shutdown (Kilns and Finish Mills);
Interface with accounting department for audits, cycle counts and surveys in the warehouse;
Responsible for about 22 K coded parts and about 12 K inventory items in the warehouse;
Maintain security for all stored materials, parts and associated equipment/tools in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensure that all purchased materials, equipment and parts flow through store controls, including proper identification as well as checked against purchase orders, supplier documents and invoices (proper inventory records and control systems).
Assist the Buyer to locate and procure parts and services during emergencies, special situations or circumstances (i.e. Buyer is on vacations, Buyer position is vacant, etc)
About You
We Require:
High School or Equivalent; College degree preferred.
5+ years cement or industrial experience preferred
Cement equipment experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong computer software background, including the entire suite of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel knowledge and experience with JDE, Bid2 Win, and Build2 Win preferred
Ability to identify motor, gearboxes, fans, pumps, screw, shaft, bearings, rollers, belt conveyors, FK pumps parts, etc.
Self-directed and possess excellent time management skills; able to attend to a broad range of activities
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proven leadership skills in leading change management through example.
Self-starter with solid decision-making abilities and adaptable to change.
Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Demonstrated JDE software proficiency in parts inventory control strongly preferred
Experienced in parts ordering and or scheduling experience
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization; solid team building, coaching and delegation skills.
Must be able to read and write and speak fluently in the English language.
Must be able to handle varied workloads.
A willingness to identify issues and ask for the needed resources from management when a situation occurs that requires a heightened management involvement with transparency a key requirement
