Duration: 3 Months Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving activities, and team supervision within a designated Sales & Service Office (SSO). This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring operational efficiency, and supervising a team of four warehouse employees.
Important: This is not a desk-based position. The Warehouse Supervisor will actively participate in warehouse operations while leading the team and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
  • Process online orders for hardware, cables, and miscellaneous materials supporting Service and Installation departments.
  • Generate and process purchase orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and reconcile incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documentation.
  • Unpack, sort, and distribute materials to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Oracle and other computerized inventory management systems.
  • Document inventory transactions and transfers between sub-inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure alignment between physical and system inventory.
  • Conduct cycle counts, quarterly inventories, and annual physical inventory audits.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
  • Stock inventory according to established warehouse guidelines and shelf locator systems.
  • Deliver incoming materials not assigned to warehouse inventory to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of stocked products and assist with equipment and work order inquiries.
  • Evaluate returned equipment from canceled accounts and determine appropriate disposition, including repair, warranty replacement, manufacturer return, recycling, or disposal.
  • Manage waste handling processes including electronic waste, batteries, and equipment recycling programs.
Shipping & Receiving
  • Ensure outbound shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules and inventory availability.
  • Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory handling and shipping procedures.
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise daily activities of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, storing, testing, inventory control, and shipping operations.
  • Lead and manage a team of 4 warehouse employees.
  • Assign and direct daily work activities.
  • Monitor productivity, performance, and policy compliance.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve operational issues.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Reporting & Communication
  • Communicate inventory availability, shipment status, shortages, and operational issues with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare warehouse KPI reports and operational updates.
  • Provide inventory accuracy and performance reporting to management.
  • Support continuous process improvements within warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree from a two-year college, technical school, or related program preferred.
Experience
  • 1 3 years of related warehouse supervisory or warehouse operations experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of material handling and inventory control experience.
  • Experience working with computerized inventory management systems.
  • Experience supervising warehouse personnel preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle inventory systems is highly preferred.
