Job Description:
Victory Wine Group was established in 2015 as an innovative solution for wineries and distillers in Texas. In January 2023, Victory Wine Group became Maverick Beverage Company of Texas and in 2025 we became Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas. As an importer and distributor of fine wines and craft spirits based in Texas, we represent a high-quality, diversified collection of wines and spirits from around the world, many of which are family-owned and operated.
Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all outbound shipping activities on the night shift to ensure that we are always properly filling orders for customer's accounts and that all items ordered are shipped.
Job Description
Job Duties:
• Responsible for all end of day activity to include working with routing to process invoices, product pick labels, driver paperwork, and nightly team picking stats. • Schedule order selection and replenishment accordingly. • Hire and train selection and replenishment personnel. • Manage and develop night shift personnel. • Maintain quality standards for order selection. • Ensure performance standards for order selection (i.e.: cases picked, pick errors, breakage) meet or exceed company benchmarks. • Payroll oversight to include calculation of incentives. • Maintain all safety activities for the night shift. • Manage loading and unloading of product to ensure completion in an efficient and safe manner. • Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations management experience. Previous forklift certification and experience is desired. Ability to work independently, be self managed and motivated to meet deadlines. Strong Microsoft Office Skills particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work a night schedule starting at 6:00pm until completion, Sunday-Thursday, and ability to work holidays and weekends as needed.
