Brooks' BBQ is looking for a full-time warehouse supervisor. This individual must be hard working and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. As a warehouse supervisor you will work with a small group of individuals to coordinate inventory, oversee receiving, and ensure proper storage of food and beverage products while maintaining rotation, cleanliness and organization.

To excel in this role, you should thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Being able to work irregular hours over the week; evenings, weekends and public holidays when needed is a requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for stocking ingredients from delivery area to work area, walk-in cooler, and storage
- Checking in trucks and verifying that all items are accounted for
- Putting away all items that come in, properly rotating them first in, first out
- Maintaining the warehouses for organization and cleanliness
- Assuring no damaged goods are taken off the trucks
- Follow daily cleaning schedule
- Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Prioritize important tasks and manage your time effectively.
- Man and operate equipment relative to your role.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent, daily basis.
- Pushing & Pulling: Ability to maneuver wheeled carts, hand trucks, and loaded pallets weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Mobility & Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead for extended shifts of 8 to 10 hours.
- Environment Tolerance: Working inside walk-in freezers and coolers at temperatures below 32°F for extended periods. As well as being able to work safely in hot summer weather and high-temperature zones like the BBQ pit area.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience, ideally within the food, beverage, or hospitality industry.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and a food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) are preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong organizational habits, basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work irregular hours (day and night shifts)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable, and punctual
- At least 18 years of age
