divh2Warehouse Manager/h2pDirects and coordinates the warehouse activities of the distribution center by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned./pulliAssigns workers to accurately receive and stock all inbound freight./liliAssigns workers to accurately pull all customers orders and ship in specified time frame./liliAdministers company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees./liliCommunicates with inbound and outbound freight companies./liliManages the fleet of trucks and drivers./liliEstablishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and the accurate keeping of warehouse inventory./liliCoordinates activities of the warehouse with activities of central purchasing, merchandising, sales, and finance departments to ensure availability of merchandise and proper execution of administrative transactions./liliCommunicates information to General Manager, Operation Manager, or Headquarters in a timely manner to expedite merchandise receipt, shipping, and special handlings./liliDirects reclamation of damaged merchandise./liliUnderstands and operates PKMS warehouse management system./liliMonitor the daily checklist to ensure all processes are completed before the end of the shift/liliPrint and interpret reports to measure employee productivity/li/ulpSupervisory Responsibilities:/pulliManages personnel and all supervisors associated with shifts. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these personnel./liliCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws./liliResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also responsible for asset control and the physical security of the facility./li/ulpQualifications/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Four-year college degree preferred. 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./ppLanguage Skills:/pulliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals./liliAbility to write routine reports and correspondence./liliAbility to speak effectively before groups of employees./li/ulpMathematical Skills:/pulliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./liliAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs./li/ulpReasoning Ability:/pulliAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists./liliAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form./li/ulpComputer Skills:/ppKnowledge of basic office (spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail) as well as inventory and warehouse management software.
