Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with 2-5 years of leadership experience, a strong attention to detail, and a safety-oriented mindset. This role requires someone who is KPI driven, skilled in conflict resolution, and capable of following through on disciplinary actions. Previous experience in a Union environment is a plus. While this is not a working supervisor position, the candidate should be comfortable performing hands-on tasks if necessary. The role involves managing the warehouse build part, ensuring pallets are built, wrapped, and loaded onto trucks efficiently each night.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily manpower requirements for the current day and week, keeping overtime to a minimum.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, communicating safety and operational messages, taking suggestions, and answering questions.
• Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers ensuring safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements are met.
• Manage work flows efficiently.
• Provide training, support, and direction to employees to ensure understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment.
• Oversee 10-12 direct reports, including order pickers and order builders.
• Undertake other projects or duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Leadership experience of 2-5 years.
• Union experience as a supervisor or manager.
• Strong attention to detail and safety orientation.
• Experience with warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Proficiency with WMS applications and SAP/ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate business needs and respond proactively.

Work Environment

The role is situated in a hot warehouse environment that also runs production operations. It is a fast-paced setting where employees are held to strict KPIs, and teamwork is essential to meet nightly truck loading deadlines.

This is a Permanent position based out of Eagan, MN.

The pay range for this position is $64771.00 - $80964.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
