As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising shift employees engaged in warehouse operations, food processing support, and sanitation activities. This includes overseeing both manual and equipment-based processes to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

This position is located in San Leandro, CA.

Main responsibilities:

  • Build and develop a high-performing team by establishing accountability, setting expectations, and fostering engagement
  • Foster a work environment that promotes trust, teamwork, safety, and quality, aligned with company values and operational standards
  • Plan, lead, and direct all shipping and warehouse activities on the assigned shift, providing clear direction and timely feedback to employees
  • Maintain overall accountability for shift performance, ensuring all processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, ordering, inventory processing, storage, sanitation, and shipping of materials and finished goods
  • Coordinate and manage staffing, scheduling, and material planning to support operational and production needs
  • Plan, delegate, and monitor work assignments and special projects to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Ensure all products and processes meet quality standards and comply with company, federal, and state regulations
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, and company policies
  • Manage performance against budgeted targets, including labor productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize technology, systems, and Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and optimize workflows
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
  • This position may require evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.

What we are searching for:

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn additional business systems.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

  • 4-year college degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of production, operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and develop employees
  • Working knowledge of equipment and maintenance operations
