Warehouse Supervisor

The Staff Pad has partnered with a well -known logistics and warehousing organization in San Francisco, CA and is looking for a motivated and results -driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure seamless movement of goods throughout the supply chain.<\/span><\/span>

In this key leadership role, you'll oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and team performance while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate fulfillment of customer and company expectations.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate warehouse team members to ensure strong performance and professional growth<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Enforce safety standards, policies, and procedures to create and maintain a safe workplace<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to improve warehouse layout, workflow, and operational efficiency<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, including productivity metrics, inventory status, and incident reports<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize disruptions and maintain exceptional service levels<\/span><\/span>

  What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>

  Minimum Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • High school diploma or equivalent<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong organizational, problem -solving, and communication skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Associate degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with transportation, logistics and warehousing industry standards and compliance requirements<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency with advanced warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Forklift operation certification and warehouse safety training credentials<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proven success leading diverse teams and driving operational improvements<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      • Effective problem -solving skills to resolve operational issues and maintain productivity<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and a safe work environment<\/span><\/span>
