Warehouse Supervisor

Eclipse Advantage is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will supervise, direct and evaluate warehouse personnel f at our client facility in Tully, NY. We are looking for a hard-working and team-oriented leader to oversee the 3rd Shift .

3rd Shift, 9pm Start time Tuesday-Saturday

Responsibilities and essential job functions:

• Supervise and lead warehouse team through delegation, training and exemplifying high customer service standards
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping stock and related problems.
• Maintains employee Safety Training and Compliance schedule and records.
• Schedules staff hours to align with customer requirements
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow; reviews and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
• Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policy.
• Supervises the completion of all housekeeping and other duties as assigned for the warehouse
• Collaborates with Site Manager for all interviews, hires, and training of employees; prepares and submits all required paperwork.
• Coach employees and enforce disciplinary actions.

Job requirements:

• 2-3 years related work and supervisor experience.
• Prior distribution center or warehouse supervisory experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• An ability to connect with and a team
