Warehouse Support Coordinator

Overview

The Warehouse Support Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to the area supervisor(s) by supporting team members with inventory control, quality assurance and transportation activities. This position will provide other basic team support which promotes communication, quality, safety and productivity including performing the hourly functional work in the area.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Warehouse Support Coordinator key responsibilities include:

• Performing Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, and Transportation Scheduling functions.
• Cycle-counting locations, identifying deviations in stock levels, and reporting deviations to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Performing audits on a sampling of completed orders for accuracy to ensure high level of customer service.
• Processing In and Outbound deliveries/shipments using WMS.
• Researching and resolving any issues that arise with In/Out-bound deliveries/shipments.
• Performing inbound and outbound planning.
• Training team members on different functional areas.
• Integral part of annual facility inventory.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

Warehouse Support Coordinator requirements include:

• 3+ years related warehouse, training, or distribution experience.
• Experience using WMS (specifically Manhattan WMS) preferred.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Able to frequently lift and carry up to 40-65 lbs, frequent standing and bending.
• Experience using material handling equipment preferred.
