POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Support DEPARTMENT: Logistics Site Services

SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Site Services Lead, the Warehouse Support is expected to have a working knowledge of basic warehouse operations. Ideal candidate must be able to manage inventory and warehouse operations with a high degree of organization & attention to detail. Coordinates inventory management, documentation, physical inventories and related tasks. Desired competencies include: ability to establish priorities under tight deadlines and have a proven track record as a motivated, self-starter who can work on multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Support day to day operations of Logistics terminal warehouse operations. Warehouse functions include loading, shipping, receiving, inspecting, inventorying, issuing, replenishment and material storage.
2. Responsible for laying out storage space, establishing item locations, determining organization and arrangement of stock, and identifying high and low usage items according to regulations and internal procedures for warehouse and surplus material.
3. Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all incoming and outgoing orders.
4. Packages in-bound/out-bound shipments using best commercial practices.
5. Verifies inbound & outbound materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
6. Resolves material-related issues with internal & external customers.
7. Maintains records: material receipts, warehouse issuances, & assets.
8. Operate large warehouse perimeter vehicles such as 1D2 Ton flatbed trucks and forklifts.
9. Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols within the warehouse and associated storage areas.
10. Sound computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
1. Valid Driver's license
2. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
3. Minimum three years of warehouse inventory or industry experience.
4. Industrial experience preferred.
5. Construction and tools experience preferred.

Skills:
1. Forklift certification required.
2. Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills, including editing and proofreading.
3. Ability to uphold to strict ethical standards: integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality.
4. Ability to work in difficult conditions and with situations that involve customers, operations, and emergencies.
5. Ability to read and interpret operations manuals, and to analyze and apply basic troubleshooting and repair techniques on various equipment.
6. Ability to maintain automated and manual record keeping systems.
7. Ability to work independently.
8. Ability to evaluate information and exercise good judgment in making decisions.
9. Problem solving the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information as appropriate.
10. Interpersonal Skills the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas, and exhibits a willingness to try new things.

7. Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
8. Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) within sixty days of hire.
9. Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card/License.

" Ability to stand and walk for long periods of times on hard and uneven surfaces.
" Ability to operate and use all equipment as necessary. Vision and depth perception are required.
" Ability to bend, carry, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist and kneel in narrow spaces.
" Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
" Ability to work unaccompanied at a rapid work pace for extended shifts of 12 hours or more, as assigned.
" Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
