About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing inbound and outbound shipping functions at a local liquidation center. This role supports warehouse operations including receiving, packing, and picking, while adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of operating warehouse equipment, with a focus on providing efficient, accurate, and safe service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound customer shipments within a liquidation warehouse environment
• Operate manual and/or power material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dock levelers, and scales, if trained and certified
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout warehouse operations
• Assist with receiving, packing, and picking activities to support warehouse functions
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper documentation of shipments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments
• Follow standard operating procedures for warehouse operations and equipment handling
• Support manual tasks requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds as needed
• Perform quality checks to ensure shipments meet company standards
• Use standard office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, and computers, for documentation and communication

Required Qualifications:

• Warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks, dock levelers, and scales
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in operating manual or power equipment (if applicable)
• Previous experience in a liquidation or distribution center

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Manual lifting up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking in a warehouse setting
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely

Dress Code:

Close-toe shoes, casual wear, no holes or strings in jeans or shorts, no tank tops or Spanx/leggings
