Warehouse Team Lead

Position: Warehouse Department Lead 
Location: Sturtevant, WI
Pay: $22-$23/hr

Our reputable client in Sturtevant, WI is looking for a Warehouse Department Lead! 

Must be bilingual in Spanish

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate production updates throughout the day
• Coordinate with Warehouse for material movements
• Coordinate with Customer Service regarding schedule changes
• Monitor labor efficiency throughout the shift
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Verify production counts
• Assist with inventory accuracy
• Assist with audits as required.
• Identify production issues before they become larger problems
•  Resolve day-to-day operational concerns
• Escalate major issues to the Supervisor
• Recommend process improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, warehouse management systems)
•  Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests.

• Previous repack or contract packaging experience
•  Experience leading teams of 20+ employees
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Bend, twist, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
