Warehouse Team Lead - University Park, IL

Salary range: 24-26 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS may include but not limited to:
- Will assist in directing the daily activities of the warehouse such as shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Fully participate in and ensure that all safety precautions are used and followed in the warehouse
- Provide oversight on all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and make sure that all proper documentation is accompanied with parts
- Coach and mentor warehouse staff
- Create pick lists for shop orders
- Create and monitor project part shortage list and ensure needed parts are available by required deadline
- Maintain and organize parts for projects and release them to the proper accounts
- Work with purchasing to resolve part shortages and ensure parts are available for distribution
- Process, pack, and ship orders
- Receive parts and manufacturing materials
- Responsible for the count and reconciling of inventory
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Primarily working within the warehouse indoors, but must also have the ability to work in outdoor environment when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years warehouse experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent Communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with others and in a team atmosphere
- High customer focus and the drive/initiative to deliver above satisfaction results
- Excellent in multi-tasking
- Highly skilled at organization
- Forklift driver certified
- Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
