Warehouse Technician - Carey, OH

General Purpose of Position:

A Warehouse Technician is an integral part of the business. They oversee receiving and processing of incoming stock, picking and packing orders to guarantee shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Follow all SOPs, COPs and cGMPs as directed

Inventory Functions

Unpacks, inspects, receives inbound, outbound freight

Use computer, handheld electronic units, voice commend headsets

Use hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and run shrink wrap machinery

Put product away in appropriate areas; with inbound/outbound freight and Replens

7

Organizes product, by expiration date and keeps clean organize work areas

Works as a team, has quality to work

Is dependable, accurate, punctual, and problem solve

Follow all safety and security policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Work Shift:

This position works days. Onsite in Carey, OH. 8:00am to 5:00pm

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Clear understanding and demonstration of Prasco core values
• JD Edwards experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work as team, quickly adapt, learn new skills and moves independently.
• Previous forklift experience

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• College Degree preferred
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Required to stand, sit, talk, see and hear. Required to walk, lift and move up to 100 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate controls/equipment/computer.
• Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
• The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to loud.
