Warehouse Technician

Our fast-paced industrial client located near Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Warehouse Technician for a temporary position, offering hands-on work in mechanical assembly, testing, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Technician will include:*Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and technical documentation.
*Perform calibration, diagnostics, and pressure/leak testing of finished products.
*Inspect materials and completed parts to ensure quality and proper quantities.
*Manage inventory of tools and components used in assembly processes.
*Troubleshoot and repair customer-returned items with functional or cosmetic issues.
*Maintain documentation of repairs, calibrations, and production status in real time.
*Operate and learn equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and other warehouse tools.
*Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety programs.
*Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
*Contribute positively to team goals and overall business success.


Qualifications of the Warehouse Technician:*High School Diploma or GED required
*Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools and processes
*Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical schematics, and assembly instructions
*Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
*Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working overhead
*Basic computer literacy, especially with Microsoft 365; ability to learn company systems
*Effective communication skills and a team-first mindset
*Experience with warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., rigging, forklifts, cranes) is a plus
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $23/hr.
