Our fast-paced industrial client located near Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Warehouse Technician for a temporary position, offering hands-on work in mechanical assembly, testing, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Technician will include:
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Perform calibration, diagnostics, and pressure/leak testing of finished products.
- Inspect materials and completed parts to ensure quality and proper quantities.
- Manage inventory of tools and components used in assembly processes.
- Troubleshoot and repair customer-returned items with functional or cosmetic issues.
- Maintain documentation of repairs, calibrations, and production status in real time.
- Operate and learn equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and other warehouse tools.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety programs.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
- Contribute positively to team goals and overall business success.
Qualifications of the Warehouse Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools and processes
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical schematics, and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
- Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working overhead
- Basic computer literacy, especially with Microsoft 365; ability to learn company systems
- Effective communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Experience with warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., rigging, forklifts, cranes) is a plus
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $23/hr.
