We have been in business for over 35 years and our current area of focus includes industrial insulation scaffolding siding and refractory services.Warehouse Technician DriverJob TitleWarehouse Technician DriverLocation Platteville COReports to Warehouse ManagerPrimary Objectives for the positionFill all scaffold tickets and material requisitions for jobsLoad & unload trucks with the use of forkliftMaintain scaffold & equipment inventory including component counts and stacking as neededSafely load and transport scaffolding materials to from jobsites to support projectsDaily documented inspection of warehouse delivery truck and trailers to DOT requirements ensure equipment is safe operating condition prior to use.Support tracking of scaffold insulation and consumable inventory as well as coordination of inventory movement between multiple jobsites for the BranchMaintain a thorough accurate inventory of scaffolding equipment and suppliesKeep a clean and organized warehouse and laydown yard where equipment is stored maintainedDemonstrate ownership of the warehouse and yard the condition reflects the owner of the workInspect & package items for shipment by courier motor andor contract freight loadsColor code tools & equipmentRepair tools & equipment where and when possiblePerform minor truck maintenanceDevelop understanding of warehouse operations and Warehouse Manager rolePackage items for shipment by courier motor andor contract freight loadsAccomplish any Special Projects that are neededReport to work on timeProvide proper notification of absence.Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with Classic Industrials Code of Ethics and Code of ConductMust maintain a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position and situation.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional RequirementsHigh School GraduateMaintain a Current Valid DOT Medical Card and CDL LicensePass a pre-employment UA ScreenPass and Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Report and Background Check to enable operation of Classic Equipment and Vehicles Additionally as part of the Classic team you mustThink and plan strategically Develops others Be willing to tackle complex and sensitive issuesBe a flexible continuous learnerInspire and influence others in order to achieve goalsBe a positive impactSkills Knowledge and AbilitiesPhysicalBody Positions Physically this person will stand most of the day sit during driving deliveriesBody Movements One must be able to climb bend stoop squat and reach. Must be able to lift 50- 75lbs without assistance.Body Senses This position requires the full use of vision in order to read paperwork and requisitions as well as full hearing and good communication skills to communicate with employees vendors and outside agenciesMentalMathematicsMental ability is required to complete math and formulas.LanguageThis position requires the ability to read write and speak English in order to read requisitions purchase orders delivery tickets and to communicate with vendors and employees.Reasoning Dealing with vendors drivers employees and others in the accomplishment of the goals of the Company.Computer Working knowledge of Excel MS Word Outlook etc. a plus but training is available to qualified candidate.ExperienceRequired 1-3 years of CDL experience operating pickup truck and trailer exceeding 26000 lbs not tractor trailer.3 years of safe driving recordPreferred 3-5 years experience in Construction or Warehousing.3-5 years experience in Shipping and ReceivingLogistics Working Conditions The majority of the time will be spent in and around the warehouse and on the road delivery materials to project sites primarily in Denver Metro and Northern Colorado. One off situation may occur where role may be required to deliver materials to further distances in Colorado and bordering states but this would be limited. Working Hours 40 hours a week minimum 700 a.m. 300 p.m. is standard Start Stop time at the Warehouse in Platteville CO. Work hours may shift to an earlier start and stop dependent on project delivery schedule and location. Ability to work overtime as required and Saturdays a plus Overtime will be project support dependent on a weekly basis.
