Our client is currently seeking a qualified Warehouse Technician (Inventory) to join their team onsite in Bloomfield, CT. This is a contract position with a duration of 1-year.

This role will support IT Equipment depot in multiple facets and with multiple tasks. This resource will coordinate inventory counts, move pallets, and organize stock in depot storage areas. The ideal candidate must be able to work unsupervised, be well organized and be flexible. In addition to inventory this role will also assist in shipping and build areas to cover team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring of inventory levels (shipping supplies)
  • Confirming product is accounted for upon receiving and doing the put away in proper inventory locations
  • Performing weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Attending / run inventory meetings with multiple other departments
  • Monitoring of inventory levels in both shipping and build rooms
  • Performing movement of supplies from room to room to maintain adequate levels of supplies in all areas
  • Assisting with shipping of outgoing materials
  • Creating shipping / return shipping labels and inputting this data into the task ticket
  • Will be responsible to stage boxes and move to area for shipment pickup
  • Responsible for taking packages to carrier drop off and getting them to the right area for distribution
  • Assisting with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Assisting with disposal / recycling of cardboard and trash
  • Assisting with quality assurance of outgoing packages for carrier
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of previous inventory experience preferred
  • Experience working on any inventory system
  • QA experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and move pallets (pallet jack experience required)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic
 
 
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $17.25 - $23.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
