The shift is Sunday-Thursday starting at 2:30pm.
What You'll Do in the Warehouse:
- Develop and implement training programs for warehouse/delivery personnel including new hires
- Conduct training sessions on safety procedures, equipment operation and best practices in a distribution environment
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments
- Act as a primary point of contact between distribution teams and other departments
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments to optimize overall warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Problem solve and resolve system related disputes or issues that may arise
- Issues related to personnel should be directed to management or human resources
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations
- Analyze performance metrics and provide reports to DC Manager with recommendations for improvements
- Implement corrective actions to address performance issues and inefficiencies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the distribution network
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, distribution processes and communications logs
- Prepare reports and documentation to support decision-making and compliance requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Required for Success
- Strong knowledge of distribution processes, logistics and supply chain management
- Comprehensive understanding of company and department policies and procedures
- Knowledge in Eclipse Distribution Software and proficient in RF technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle conflicts effectively
- Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Train the trainer certification for all equipment
