Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to support the daily operations of the warehouse at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying deliveries, picking and packing unit orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role also requires maintaining accurate warehouse records and following all applicable safety and organizational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments, inspect materials for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Accurately pick, pack, and deliver items for unit orders.
• Stock inventory in designated locations and assist with inventory counts and audits.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and delivery carts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and other computer programs for warehouse-related documentation.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 1 2 years of warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
• Ability to learn and use new computer programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
