Warehouse Worker - Days (56425)

American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for a Warehouse Specialist for our location in Arlington, Texas.

Must work prior in a warehouse. Able to lift couches, chairs, tables, load and unload trucks.

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise during the warehouse operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun
• Compare driver's paperwork to NAV
• Check NAV to ensure all has been collected - if not search offload
• Post all collections and deliveries
• Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard
• Touch Up and reclass merchandise in warehouse
• Lift carry and place product into and take out of racks
• Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
• Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
• Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
• Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
• Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate
• Operate forklift, palette jack and hand trucks.
• Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace
• All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove / dispose of debris.
• Follow safety procedures in accordance with training, and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Prior warehouse experience helpful.
