Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
As a warehouse worker, you will follow standard operating procedures to fulfill both internal and external customer requests. You will work in various functional areas of the warehouse such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. The role requires dedication to maintaining accuracy and efficiency while ensuring inventory is organized and safely stored.
Responsibilities
Process orders according to priority to meet customer requirements.
Receive, pick, package, and label shipments following Distribution SOPs.
Operate picking carts or powered industrial trucks to locate materials.
Complete documentation for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.
Maintain neat, clean, and orderly inventory practices.
Verify proper storage conditions and report inventory issues.
Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain employee relations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in distribution and departmental standard operating procedures.
Ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
Capability to work independently and solve problems.
Strong communication skills to read and write effectively.
Physical ability to carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of general warehouse experience.
Experience with powered industrial trucks and handling hazardous materials is beneficial.
Familiarity with computers and scanning equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a distribution center where you will be on the front lines of delivering vital products. The environment may vary from cold in winter to hot in summer. Expect to engage in frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching as part of your daily activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FLORENCE, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
