This position requires an individual who is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities throughout the workday and can safely operate warehouse equipment, move materials, assist with deliveries, and support other operational needs.The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, crane certification, and previous commercial driving experience. Experience operating a Lopke/Lopcate-type truck or similar material transport equipment is strongly preferred.This is a hands-on position for someone who is willing to assist wherever needed and can successfully work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change throughout the day.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts to load, unload, stage, and move materials throughout the warehouse and yardSafely operate cranes and other material-handling equipment as requiredLoad and unload trucks while properly securing materialsDrive company vehicles and transport materials, equipment, or supplies as neededOperate Lopke/Lopcate-type equipment or similar material transport vehicles when requiredReceive incoming materials and verify quantities, condition, and accuracyPrepare, stage, and organize materials for jobs, deliveries, and productionHandle glass, structural materials, fabricated products, and other materials safelyAssist production and field teams with material and equipment needsMaintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and yardPerform routine equipment inspections and immediately report maintenance or safety concernsFollow all company, OSHA, union, and jobsite safety requirementsMaintain proper documentation related to materials, deliveries, and equipment when requiredManage multiple tasks and changing priorities throughout the workdayWork collaboratively with warehouse, production, drivers, field employees, and managementPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementRequired QualificationsCurrent forklift certification and demonstrated forklift operating experienceCrane certification and experience safely operating crane equipmentPrevious commercial or material-delivery driving experienceValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordMust be currently affiliated with the applicable union or willing and eligible to join the unionAbility to safely load, unload, secure, and transport materialsAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding warehouse workAbility to read measurements and perform basic mathStrong safety awareness and attention to detailAbility to multitask, prioritize assignments, and adjust to changing operational needsDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience operating Lopke/Lopcate-type trucks or similar material-handling/transport equipmentExperience working in structural steel, construction, architectural metals, glass, or fabrication environmentsExperience handling large or fragile materials, including glassExperience with rigging, material staging, and load securementAdditional equipment or commercial driving certificationsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who understands that warehouse operations require flexibility and teamwork.
