Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in a bustling warehouse environment. Your day will involve hands-on tasks, including disassembling electronics using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers. You will also engage in computer/data entry tasks using our proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel to manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble computer components, outdated/damaged server racks, and memory banks.

• Lift items weighing up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the day.

• Rotate through several departments within the warehouse, performing varied tasks.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to, including wearing steel toe or composite boots.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers.

• Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and data entry tasks.

• Ability to follow written directions accurately.

• Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience with inventory management.

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

The warehouse is located in Front Royal, VA, and operates from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The facility focuses on wiping data from old computers, racks, and servers, either reselling them or destroying them for metal sales. The environment is teamwork-oriented, requiring strong attention to detail for sorting materials. Steel toe or composite boots are mandatory from day one.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Front Royal, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
