Job Summary

Our client, a leading foodservice distribution and supply company, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its Westampton, NJ facility. This contract role supports receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience operating powered industrial equipment, including rider pallet jacks, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and stock incoming merchandise.
- Process returned merchandise.
- Prepare "Via" merchandise for shipment.
- Pick, pack, and ship merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
- Perform cycle counts and PIP report counting.
- Drop merchandise from "reserve" to "pick" slots.
- Pick manual orders and assemble/check pre-packs.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack equipment.
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Experience operating a double-length rider pallet jack, or single-length ride-on pallet jack (training provided for single-length operators). Candidates with only manual pump jack experience will not be considered.
- Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly throughout each shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to pass forklift training and certification.
- PC/data terminal and Radio Frequency (RF) device operation skills.
- Safety boots with 5-inch ankle coverage and safety toe, required on Day 1.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience.
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory control processes.

About the Role

- Location: Westampton, NJ (on-site).
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM.
- Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Long-term contingent assignment (approximately 904 total hours).
- Travel: None required (0%).
- Pay: Competitive rate.
