Warehouse Worker I

Job Summary:
A leading food distribution company is seeking 10 Warehouse Workers for its Hampshire, IL facility. This is a full-time, contract position supporting daily warehouse operations, including palletizing, labeling, loading/unloading, and forklift operation. Candidates must be comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments; freezer suits and gloves are provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Palletize, label, and rebox products for shipment
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Move pallets using an electric pallet jack and forklift
- Sort and pack items accurately
- Perform duties in cooler and freezer environments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or industrial work experience preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cold or freezer conditions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification
- Experience in food distribution or cold storage environments
- Prior experience with palletizing and shipping/receiving processes

About the Role:
This is a full-time contract position located at 200 Flannigan Rd, Hampshire, IL 60140. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, working 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Potential overtime may be available on Sundays, subject to approval. No travel is required for this position. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
